Stefanie De Paolis

Stefanie began her dance training in Ukrainian folk dance, and switched to jazz, tap and ballet after seeing clips of "Dirty Dancing" when she was 6 years old.  She was a member of the JCB Danceworks competitive company, travelling throughout Ontario and New York State performing and creating wonderful memories and friendships with her fellow dancers and teachers. Stefanie also graduated from the ArtsYork Dance Program at Unionville High School. While pursuing her degree at the University of Guelph, she was a part of the team that revitalized the “Gryphon Dance Pak”, working as captain, choreographer and manager for four years. Stefanie has worked as a teacher and choreographer for recreational and competitive studios in the GTA and Southwestern Ontario areas, and continues to enjoy sharing her love and passion for dance with her students. When not moonlighting as a dance instructor, Stefanie is a Registered Dietitian with a Masters degree in Applied Nutrition, who specializes in sports and performing arts nutrition.
