iDance Recreational Dress Code

All Ballet Classes (includes Kinder Dance)

Shoe: Pink Ballet Slipper. Leather is preferred

Clothing: Any colour Bodysuit, Pink Tights, Skirt Optional

Hair: Slick Bun

 

All Jazz Hip Hop Classes

Shoe: Black Jazz Shoe

Clothing: Any colour Body Suit/Dance Tank, Leggings/Capri/ Shorts with Tights

Hair: Ponytail/Pulled off face

 

All Tap Classes

Shoe: Black Tap Shoe

Clothing: Any colour Body Suit/Dance Tank, Leggings/Capri/ Shorts with Tights

Hair: Ponytail/Pulled off face

All Hip Hop Classes

Shoe: Indoor low cut Black Running Shoe (recommend Black Converse Shoe)

Clothing for Girls: Dance Tank, Leggings or Capri or Jogging pants

Clothing for Boys: T-shirt with jogging pants or shorts - No school clothes please

Hair for Girls:  Ponytail

All Acro Classes

Shoe: Bare feet or Socks with Grips (From Trampoline parks are great)

Clothing: Any colour Body Suit/Dance Tank, Leggings/Capri/ Shorts. Tights optional

Hair: Slick bun or Ponytail/Pulled off Face

All Lyrical/Contemporary Classes

Shoe: Leather Turning Shoe (Capezio Sophia Lucia)

Clothing: Any colour Bodysuit or Dance Tank, Leggings or Capri or Booty Shorts. Tights optional

Hair: Slick bun or Ponytail

PLEASE LABEL ALL SHOES & ANY REMOVABLE CLOTHING. Shoes can be Purchased from Gabies Boutique or found at Walmart, Payless shoes and with luck, Once Upon a Child. Clothing can also be found at Gabies Boutique, Joe Fresh, Winners, Justice, Old Navy, etc.

Fall Session Showcase:                                    Sunday Dec 8  at Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts

Winter/Spring Term Begins:                           Monday January 6, 2025 (must re-register)

Spring Recital Costume Payment Due:        March 6, 2025 ($75+HST/costume)

Last Day of Spring Term:                                Saturday April 26, 2025

Recreational Spring Recitals:                         Sunday April 27 at Newmarket NewRoads Theatre

Competitive Recital:                                        Wednesday May 7, 2025 at Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts

OTHER POLICIES TO NOTE:

  • iDance Studio is a Nut Free Facility.

  • No chewing gum, eating or drinking (other than water) in class

  • Snow Cancellations will be emailed out once confirmed during snow storms & posted on our Social Media. 

  • Classes DO take place on School PA Days
