She was also selected to compete in the Miss Dance America Pageant in NYC, where she placed in the Top 15 out of the 100 soloists in the competition. Sarah was privileged to work closely with Jeremy Fullam of the World Famous Tap Dogs during her time with the Sandra Amodeo Dance Studio. Sarah has also successfully completed her British Association Teachers of Dance (B.A.T.D) Associate Exam in Jazz, Tap, and Stage, and her Pre-Primary to Elementary Ballet Exams with the Royal Academy of Dancing (R.A.D). Her many accomplishments as a dancer are best remembered as the fun she had with her team, and all of the laughter along the way!

Sarah is a graduate of the Arts York Dance Program at Unionville High School where she had the pleasure of working with many world renowned dancers and choreographers such as Siona Jackson, Shannon Moore, Debbie Miller, and Frank Augustyn. Her love of dance has led to many teaching and choreographic opportunities at various dance studios in the GTA, and Southwestern Ontario over the past 10 years. Many of Sarah’s students have been honoured with performance and overall awards and cash scholarships at various competitions throughout the U.S, and Canada. Sarah has also won numerous awards for her creative and unique choreography.

In 2008, Sarah completed her Masters Degree in Child Study and Education at the Ontario Institute for Studies in Education at the University of Toronto. She is currently a teacher with the York Region District School Board and will be teaching in the Intermediate division in the fall. Even in her own classroom, Sarah combines her creativity and love for the arts into a fun and exciting environment for her students.
