Deidre Parigoris

Deidre found her passion for dance at the age of 5 after taking her first ballet class. By the age of 7 she joined the competitive company at JCB Danceworks where she competed across Canada. For 10 years she competed in jazz, ballet, lyrical, musical theatre and contemporary and was awarded numerous special and overall awards. When iDance Studio opened Deidre was quickly on board to join their performance team where she participated in several competitions and community events. Joining the iDance team was a very memorable experience as she formed many new friendships and overall grew as a dancer.

 

Deidre graduated from high school in 2010 on the honours list and is currently completing her Child Development Degree at York University. Once she graduates, she hopes to further her education by obtaining a Masters Degree in Child Development and Psychology.

 

Deidre is thrilled for the upcoming dance season at iDance and can’t wait to share all the memorable moments. She loves watching her students grow and progress throughout the year and wants to inspire all dancers to reach their full potential while having fun. Deidre can’t wait to be back at the studio doing what she loves best, teaching others to follow their dreams in the world of dance.
