Classes

Jazz: Jazz includes rhythm and technique which derives from classical and modern dance movements. Accompanied by popular music, dancers will learn jazz combinations, steps, and stylistic movements that compliment all other dance forms.
Tap: Tap dancing incorporates rhythm, timing, and coordination to upbeat music. Dancers will learn varied levels of tap steps and routines and perform rhythm-based choreography. Dancers enjoy this discipline as they make music with their feet with their special hard sole tap shoes and have tons of fun doing it.

Ballet: Ballet is a classical dance form demanding grace and precision and with formalized steps, poses and gestures combined with flowing patterns to create expression through movement. This dance form assists dancers build foundations in all other disciplines.

Lyrical/Contemporary: Lyrical and Contemporary dance combines elements of jazz, modern, and ballet to interpret music and express emotion. This dance form explores fluid, graceful movements, combined with unique and integrate motions. A strong technical foundation and an openness to establish a mind-body connection is required.

Hip Hop: Hip Hop is a high-energy street dance style enjoyed by all genders and ages. The movements are action packed and dancers enjoy adding their own attitude and flare to the trendy music. Hip Hop choreography and music are always accustomed to the appropriate age category and guarantee heaps of fun.

Musical Theatre: Musical Theatre combines dance, drama, and song, to create the ultimate stage performance. Combinations and styles are often inspired by music from movies and musicals. If you have ever dreamed of Broadway, this is the class for you.

Acro: Acro dance is a style with classical dance technique and acrobatic elements. Dancers must have strong flexibility and balance to participate in this physically demanding form. Training is especially important to develop as an Acro dancer, particularly if you hope to one day perform in Cirque de Soleil.

Performance Group: These classes are for experienced dancers who adore the spotlight and are looking for more of a challenge throughout the year. These dances will be performed at community events, festivals and competitions in the Spring season. Dancers are required to take a ballet or jazz technique and at least one other dance discipline. Solo, duet and trio dancers will be selected from this group.

Princess Dance: This class is for little 4-6 year old little ladies who love princesses and the fairytales they come from. Young dancers will learn elements or jazz, ballet and musical theatre as they dance around to music from their favourite Princess stories. This is a great introductory class for dancers to get a feel for various dance disciplines.

Yoga Classes: Yoga reduces stress and helps you build strength, flexibility and balance. Each class begins with flowing postures and breathing exercises to warm-up the body, followed by core work, slower stretches and guided relaxation. We will focus on basic postures and alignment while variations will be provided to meet all practitioners’ level. This yoga style with have a gental Hatha base but will also incorporate other popular techniques including vinyasa, restorative, and yin. After each yoga class you can expect to feel relaxed, renewed and revitalized. Classes are offered for all age categories. Yoga classes are offered over 12 week sessions.
                                                                                                                       Adult Dance Classes: We offer adult class in both Tap & Hip Hop Jazz. These classes guarantee and great workout and a lot of fun.

Baby Steps Dance Classes: Participants in these classes are moms with their infants strapped in an infant baby carrier. The Dance Class combinations are a blend of traditional aerobic moves, dance and freestyle. The Class features: warm-up, 3-6 Beginner / Intermediate / Advanced dance routines, 1 Stretch, Cool-down routine, 1 Cuddle-Time slow dance. Baby Dance Steps classes are offered over 12 week sessions.

Kinderdance: This introduction to dance to perfect for little ones to get a taste of jazz, ballet and acro. This class is offered in 12 week sessions.

Adult Bootcamp Fitness: This 12 week class is bound to get you into shape. It will include everything from cardio, toning, ab busters and weights. It's a total body fitness class with the favour of fun.
